What is the difference between a fine art original and a print?

Inside-Gallery originals are exclusive photography from a handpicked group of qualified and recognised photographers and photographic artists.

Contrary to a poster print, our photography is strictly limited (with a certificate signed by the artist), perfectly developed and copied onto special paper as an original photograph or produced using fine art printing processes. The differences in sharpness, gloss, colour range, contrast and durability are significant in contrast to poster prints.

The colour and light effects display a special atmosphere and depth that are unique or subject to changing light conditions and that cannot generally be easily surpassed or created with conventional printing methods. This quality difference also has an effect on the durability of the photography and the material value of the work or its price.
