What happens if a piece of artwork becomes damaged?

If a piece of photography becomes damaged, it is possible for it to be reproduced or professionally repaired. The original or its damaged remnants would initially need to be given to us for examination.

In a reproduction process, the original is destroyed and registered as destroyed. The reproduction is then commissioned. The reproduction and the cost of the materials will then by invoiced to you or your insurance company. You will also receive a replacement certificate, noting the reproduction. Individual pieces of work and artists’ proofs are only replaced in exceptional circumstances.
