Located in central Italy, Tuscany is considered one of the most beautiful natural and cultural landscapes in Europe. Nestled between historically significant cities of Florence, Siena and Arezzo, Tuscany is shaped as a hilly landscape with its characteristic lined-up cypresses. In this photograph the low rays of sunshine, bathing the scene in warm evening light, even emphasise the rolling hills.
The air is filled with the aromatic smell of ever-present olive groves. The relaxed lifestyle of this remarkable region’s inhabitants is reflected in a Tuscan saying: „You may pluck an olive as long as you want, it will not ripe faster.“
