Morning Reflections

Total silence. A quiet, hardly present breeze fills the air on a cold and clear September morning in Scandinavia, far from the bustle of any city and far from the streets of civilisation. The first rays of sunlight still lack the strength to completely dissolve the fog of the night. The clear reflections of trees and clouds in the water are truly close to perfection, only broken by the tiniest of ripples.

The fine art photography “Morning Reflections” was created very early in the morning in a lonely and very wild part of central Sweden. This area is characterised by large forest areas and a maze of waterways and lakes. Places like this are often far from any road, only accessible by canoe or kayak. Once you take these hardships, however, you will be rewarded with lasting impressions of beauty, vastness and solitude.
