FIERCE HEAD – It used to be tree fungi that grew from the wood of an old tree stump. Detached from it, it soon lost its shape, shrunk together and crumpled up. Thereby, it revealed all new form qualities that offer the eye many possibilities for fantastic associations. This is why it is the “glowing head” for us that stretches its nose to the top right, keeps its mouth slightly open. But the true fire shows on its inside, the glowing, burning orange-red.
