Cliff Diver
The fine art photography presents a human-sized sculpture while cliff diving. Taken in Dubai, the sculpture illustrates rituals and dares which is still one of the most dangerous sports worldwide. What is hardly known is that – thanks to the pearl fishing – and therefor the cliff diving – Dubai experienced an economic upswing in the 19th century. Possibly this sculpture reminds of the formerly important occupation and economy factor that gave the city its starting possibilities for a great development to the city we know today.
